Sitio Labs is not a consulting firm. Not a dev shop. Not an incubator. We are a venture studio — we originate AI-native products, we build them, and we own them. That ownership structure is the whole point.
Why we exist
Sitio Labs was founded in 2024 with a simple conviction: AI would compress the time-to-market for software products so dramatically that a small, focused studio could compete with a well-funded product team. That conviction has been proven correct four times over.
We started with a question: which markets in India are large enough to matter, underserved enough to be winnable, and complex enough that AI creates real leverage? The answers were surprising. Not fintech. Not SaaS-for-enterprise. The answers were jewellery retailers in tier-2 cities, school teachers buried in lesson planning, small business owners managing stock on WhatsApp.
So we built for them. Mentzi for teachers. AurumOS for jewellers. Depo for shop owners. ZerocodeAI for builders. Each product is live, paying, and growing. None of them are pivots.

What is Sitio Labs?
Sitio Labs is an AI venture studio based in Mumbai, India. Founded in 2024, we originate, build, and scale AI-native products for India's underserved markets. Our portfolio includes Mentzi (AI teaching copilot for K–12 schools), AurumOS (business OS for jewellery MSMEs), Depo (inventory management for MSMEs), and ZerocodeAI (plain-English to mobile app platform).

Sitio Labs is headquartered in Mumbai, India. We are remote-first and work with founders and partners globally, accepting payment in INR, USD, GBP, and AED.
What products has Sitio Labs built?
Sitio Labs has four live AI products: Mentzi (AI teaching copilot for Indian K–12 schools), AurumOS (complete business operating system for jewellery retailers and wholesalers), Depo (smart inventory and depot management for Indian MSMEs), and ZerocodeAI (plain-English prompts to production-ready iOS and Android apps, currently in open beta). Sitio Labs also serves as CTO Partner for VDOlocal, India's video-first storefront for physical store owners.
What makes Sitio Labs different from a software agency?
Sitio Labs is not an agency. We originate our own products and take equity stakes — we never build for project fees alone. When we work with external founders, we structure it as a co-founding partnership (Venture Build), embedded CTO engagement (CTO Partnership), or fixed-scope sprint (AI Sprint). We have skin in the game on everything we build.
What industries does Sitio Labs focus on?
Sitio Labs focuses on underserved markets in India where AI can create 10× leverage over incumbent solutions. Current portfolio covers: K–12 education (Mentzi), jewellery and MSME business operations (AurumOS), inventory and supply chain (Depo), and no-code developer tools (ZerocodeAI). We also have a CTO partnership in video commerce (VDOlocal).
How does Sitio Labs work with external founders?
Sitio Labs offers three engagement models: Venture Build (co-founding with equity, 8–16 weeks to first live product), CTO Partnership (embedded fractional CTO, minimum 6-month engagement), and AI Sprint (one production-ready AI product in 3–4 weeks, fixed fee from ₹5,00,000).
Does Sitio Labs work with international clients?
Yes. While our product focus is India, we work with founders and companies globally for the Venture Build, CTO Partnership, and AI Sprint engagements. We accept payment in INR, USD, GBP, and AED.
How long does it take to build a product with Sitio Labs?
For an AI Sprint, delivery is 3–4 weeks. For a Venture Build, the typical timeline to a first live product is 8–16 weeks. CTO Partnership is an ongoing engagement. Timelines depend on scope — get in touch for a specific estimate.
What is Sitio Labs' technology stack?
Sitio Labs builds AI-native products using modern full-stack architecture. Our stack includes Next.js, TypeScript, and React for web products; React Native and SwiftUI for mobile; Supabase and PostgreSQL for data; and a range of LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) for AI capabilities. We design for performance, scalability, and AI-first architecture.
