For investors

One studio. Many shots on goal.

A venture studio is a portfolio with an engine attached. This page answers the five questions an investor should ask of ours — plainly, without a hockey-stick in sight.

I

Why this company exists

We believe the next generation of important Indian companies will be AI-native, vernacular-first, and built for markets that metro-focused startups overlook. Sitio Labs exists to build those companies — and to build them from Mumbai, at the speed AI now makes possible.

II

Why this market

Bharat's underserved segments — K–12 education, MSME manufacturing, tier-2/3 consumers — are digitising with real willingness to pay, and are structurally ignored by metro-pattern startups. These markets demand vernacular products, WhatsApp-first distribution, and pricing built for Indian balance sheets. They are underserved because they are hard, not because they are small.

III

Why now

Three curves crossed at once. AI collapsed the cost of building software roughly tenfold. Vernacular AI quality crossed the threshold where a Marathi-medium teacher or a Gujarati-speaking manufacturer can use it daily. And UPI plus WhatsApp made distribution to Bharat cheap for the first time in history. The window this opens rewards whoever can ship fastest with the deepest market fluency.

IV

Why the model scales

Every venture shares the studio's AI infrastructure, design system, and distribution learnings — so each one ships faster and cheaper than the last. Four products reached the market in under two years; that cadence is the existence proof. The studio retains ownership in everything it originates, so the compounding accrues to the portfolio, not to a client.

V

Why this team

Founder-led, rooted in the SINE · IIT Bombay ecosystem, with five patents filed across the portfolio. The founder teaches free AI workshops at 50+ tier-2/3 colleges across India — which means the studio's deal flow, market insight, and talent pipeline all run through the same network it builds products for.

VI — The studio loop

How one venture pays for the next.

  1. 01

    Research

Live in the market before writing code. Field visits, not surveys.

  2. 02

    Validate

A paying user is the only validation that counts.

  3. 03

    Build

AI-native from the first commit. 8–16 weeks, production standard.

  4. 04

    Launch

In the user's language, on the user's device, at the user's price.

  5. 05

    Learn

Instrument everything; keep what the market rewards.

  6. 06

    Scale

The playbook, the infrastructure, and the distribution carry into the next bet.

Every turn of the loop makes the next venture cheaper, faster, and more likely to work. That's the studio's compounding asset.

The numbers that are real.
